The Unlucky spirit

The running monkey, giving luck the finger

Bad luck makes a good story.

Missed turns. Heavy legs. Another mile anyway. Unlucky Monkey is a nod to the days that test you—and the nerve to keep moving.

to plan. That’s fine.
Show up anyway.

Wear a little defiance.

Small mark up front. Full attitude on the back. Our Running Club tank brings the monkey, the miles, and a little mischief together.

Black & white. Unmistakably Unlucky.

03 / The story

Luck is optional.
Showing up isn’t.

Some days, the wind’s against you. The legs won’t listen. The shortcut turns into the long way home.

That’s where the monkey comes in. A raised finger to bad luck. A reminder to take the next step without taking yourself too seriously.

The artwork borrows the bold lettering of old hand-painted signs, the energy of vintage cartoons, and the checkered marks of a finish line. All in black and white. All moving forward.

The miles that don’t go to plan.

Not every run needs a good story. Sometimes getting out the door is enough.

You miss a turn. Your usual route feels longer. You stop, catch your breath, and decide what comes next.

There’s room for all of it. The quick days and the slow ones. The days you run with company and the days you need a little space.

The Unlucky spirit is simple: leave perfection at home. Move on your own terms. Give yourself something to smile about on the way.

Keep going anyway.

A monkey with something to say.

A scowl. A pair of running shoes. One very clear hand gesture.

The Unlucky Monkey artwork starts with attitude, then puts it in motion. Brush-script lettering takes its cue from 1950s signpainting, while chunky black outlines and dust clouds give the runner a vintage cartoon energy.

The checkered accents nod to the finish line. The starbursts and speed marks carry that movement around the tank. On the chest, it all comes down to the name and the hand.

No lucky charm required. Just a little defiance.
